"PATAWARTA HILL"

"Patawarta Hill" - is located just north of the "outback" township of Blinman - far Northern Flinders Ranges South Australia... For me "Patawarta Hill" is placed in a "Ancient Timeless Landscape"... I am always "drawn" to this scene & have painted it several times... possibly inspired by Broken Hill's - Jack Absalom (a member of the "Brushman of the Bush" group of pioneer artist's) & also Hahndorf's - Sir Hans Heysen interpretations... There really is a "spirit" a "dream-time" feeling about the location!!.... "Partawarta Hill" is an "Indigenous Monument" & part of my "Ancient Timeless Landscape" - series of "works"...
